What this site is and how the numbers are produced

pogosov.com is a personal market-news monitor. It collects headlines from the public news sitemaps of major financial publishers (Bloomberg, Reuters, WSJ, CNBC, MarketWatch, Barron's, Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, the wire services and others) every one to ten minutes.

Only headlines, links and publication times are stored. Article bodies are never fetched or reproduced; every headline links to the original publisher. Russian headlines are machine translations; the original is shown on hover.

Each headline is scored by a locally hosted language model on two 0–10 scales: relevance (how much the story concerns Nasdaq-100 / QQQ constituents and their drivers) and impact (the expected price effect within one to three days), together with a directional bias, a category and the tickers involved. Headlines that describe the same story across several publishers are glued into one entry; the D button opens the full list.

The Economy section shows the US national debt from Treasury Fiscal Data and key indicators from FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis): M2, the Fed balance sheet, rates, yields, inflation, unemployment.

The scores are machine-generated opinions for information purposes only and are not investment advice.
