Options tape

Up to 1000 unexpired contracts from the retained daily Top 1000. Expired contracts are removed without refilling this retained pool, so fewer may remain. Grouped by ticker and type; expand a row to see its strikes. Volume is premium traded during the source session (contracts × price × 100), not necessarily today.

How to read the table

A collapsed row shows the most-traded retained strike for one ticker and option type. Premium volume and open interest sum the eligible strikes in that group; expanding shows individual contracts. Open interest is outstanding contracts from the previous session, not resting orders. Bid/ask are the last recorded quotes, not a promise of currently executable prices. Their individual New York timestamps and ages are available on hover; quotes older than 120 seconds or with unknown timestamps are muted. Spot comes from the delayed snapshot API. “Quotes updating” means some eligible quotes are fresh, not that every row is fresh or every market is open. A healthy connection or a newly published heartbeat does not refresh a quote. Expiry and Today/7/30-day filters use the current New York calendar date and each contract’s expiry time, including while prices are paused.
