NovaGold Resources Inc. (NG) is an enterprise primarily engaged in the discovery and advancement of gold mining properties, with its operational focus predominantly within the United States. Founded in 1984, the company initially operated as NovaCan Mining Resources (1985) Limited before rebranding to NovaGold Resources Inc. in March 1987.
